Limited edition tea gifts commemorating Japanese Tea Day were sold.

October 1 is "Japanese Tea Day.


Its origin can be traced back to October 1, 1587, when Toyotomi Hideyoshi held the "Kitano Grand Tea Ceremony" at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto.

The great tea ceremony, which was open to all regardless of status or age, was said to have been a catalyst for spreading the enjoyment of tea to the masses.
